Name Your Horse

Naming is one of the most fun aspects of being an owner but once a horse is named and raced it cannot be changed so make sure to do it right first time! Applications and the naming fee (€137.50) must be made to Horse Racing Ireland on an official naming form & consist of no more than 18 characters. The submitted names must not be insulting, obscene or liable to cause confusion. The use of a name of any public person, product or company can only be used with written permission. Naming can take 10 to 14 days to be completed so give yourself plenty of time.
