Horse Racing Ireland Ownership has teamed up with racehorse trainers around the country to offer racing fans and those interested in racehorse ownership, a unique opportunity to get behind the scenes and experience a working training yard.
The inaugural Trainer Open Morning took place in John ‘Shark’ Hanlon’s yard in Carlow on the 16th July and a fantastic day was had by all. Visitors got to enjoy watching the horses on the gallops, a tour of the yard, vet and farrier talks and of course meeting John, his team, and stable stars. There are several Trainer Open Mornings taking place throughout August and the events are free to attend, all you have to do is register your attendance at www.racehorseownership.ie/openmorning
