Racehorse Partnership

What is a partnership?

A partnership is a group of 2 - 4 people. All partners need to be registered as sole owners.

Horse(s) can run under the first named partner, a combination of partner names or a partnership name and will carry Partner 1’s colours.

BANK ACCOUNT

The Owner Registration form requests the details of the owner’s bank account. This bank account is used to transfer funds to and from the Owner’s HRI Account. To verify your bank account, the owner must submit a copy of the bank statement header confirming the account name, address and IBAN number.

HRI OWNER ACCOUNT

Each partner will have their own HRI owner account. Depending on the Partnership arrangement debits and credits will be done through the relevant HRI owner account(s). Each partner can access their account online via the RAS System – this is similar to online banking, allowing you to make lodgements, withdrawals and to view statements.

HRI advises all owners to have a written agreement with trainers and if applicable with fellow owners.

As part of your ownership journey HRI also advises all owners to consider an aftercare policy for your horses. Please see here for more information.
